I always bring a VHF on bigger days, but often just bring my phone on smaller or flat days. //I discovered the other day that **my phone in its Lifeproof case was 100% useless after I had spent 30 minutes in the water**.// Not sure why. My old waterproof case worked fine. Maybe my fingers were cold? Maybe its just me? Either way, a heads up for anyone who is relying on a phone as a primary means of communication.

I would be interested in a radio clinic for sure. Honestly not sure I really know what to do with the thing if I really needed to use it.
