The kids are ripping it up again!

Today was BC Cup series race #1 in Burnaby.  Bellingham had 9 racers attend.  This race was distance style.

The morning races were a straight line 2K time trial.  30 second spacing, no head to head, no GPS allowed. It was awesome!

After lunch the following distances were run\\
4K  U11-U12\\
6K U 13/14\\
10K Open

Sean and Ryan Lee both hammered the courses exceptionally well, especially considering they started paddling K1s just last fall!  Keep an eye on them, they're developing fast...

Emma McCoy was holding steady in the open category making gains, and staying with the front finishers placing 6th in both events, and this is a pretty stacked field!

The Clarke Sisters, Mia and Talia were a big force out there today.  Mia (U11)took 2nd in both the 2K and the 4K.  Talia (U13)took 3rd in the 2K and 2nd in the 6K.  Rad stuff for sure.

Zach McGiverin made quick work of the U12s....1st place in both events...stud supreme.

Abby Scoggins U12 also took 1st in both events.

Wolgamot....Elena Wolgamot. 1st in 2K, 1st in 10K.  I think she was the first to eat breakfast too.  Probably first to put her coat on.  She likes 1st.

Basically, the Podiums were flooded with Bham colors.
