Surfski Brands\Manufacturers

Most have the manufacture done in China or somewhere besides their “home”. There are some notable exceptions (surfski.info discussion) like Nelo who make their own surfskis. The list below is made primarily of makers of ocean racing style surfskis. There are a few spec ski brands included and some of these companies make models of both kinds.

- Flow Kayaks New Zealand extra sturdy surfskis and paddles for rivers…
- Fenn South Africa - models since the factory fire in 2019 that destroyed their boat molds are all named “Fennix etc.” in addition to having the Fenn logo and do have differences from previous generations.
- Gibbons Australia - spec skis
- Huki USA - no longer selling boats and is only selling replacement components, hardware and accessories by mail order currently (2023).
- Icon Sport UK seems primarily sprint kayak and spec ski oriented
- Kai Wa'a USA - Hawaii
- Kirton UK Spec skis and a special, extra strong version of the V8 (better for hard-core touring) that they are licensed by Epic to make.
- Knysna Racing South Africa
- They also have some kind of partnership with Charger Surf Craft known for making spec skis in Australia.
