| - | I got up this morning and checked out iWindsurf.com for wind report here in Camano Island. It was blowing 20mph gusting 25.S, SSE ..with strong outgoing tide = perfect waves. I launched at [[https://www.google.com/maps/place/Maple+Grove+Rd,+Camano,+WA+98282/@48.2522443,-122.5197031,15z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x54855fdae84df41f:0xa7dcf0abb8b9517!8m2!3d48.2522443!4d-122.5175144|Maple Grove]] instead usual Utsalady Bay launch. | ||

| - | Put on Farmer John wetsuit, leashed up and head out 6km upwind. Turned around and start surfing. Waves were awesome 3-4ft some pushing 5ft. Waves were running parallel with the shore so I did not have to venture too far out into the bay. My Mako Elite was rock solid in the waves..gliding effortlessly. There were no boats around (fishing/crabbing) season off ???. Some waves where big enough you could feel it in the stomach and starring down,,,just awesome runner after runner. | ||

| - | I wish I could paddle more often in conditions like this and not only in the weekends and when wind and currents line up just right. But I will take whatever I can. | ||
