I've seen the wind/water like that some years ago. I don't have the mustard for it anymore. Seeing those gusts come through flattening the water like that, feeling the hard pressure on your paddle and on your back. I remember also having to stroke hard so that the waves didn't eat the boat and make sure the boat kept up.

I do not remember having bare feet like that. whew.\\
