But the last 1.5 miles into Little Squalicum made it all worth while. Probably the best I've ridden. Then it was time to dodge the telephone pole driftwood churning up near the beach. | Too big all day for my tastes. Finally got out about 3:30 from MP once it calmed down somewhat. Did some laps solo, then Dennis joined, then MG showed up. | Lake Whatcom was rocking today too. I put in at the fire station on the south end and ran up to Bloedel. The south end was nasty with the wind and waves coming from both the south and the east and meeting in the middle. Once I got past the island the waves became more uniform and I was able get in some nice rides. Wind tore the ski out of my grasp and I chased the ski all across the lawn. Wild wind!
