| - | stupid is a near cousin to ignorant. i am new enough on the bike to not fully recognize problem situations. we see same on the water - when you haven't done it much you don't have good context. there was a lot of mud. at speed this should have been obvious outcome. next. i got myself separate from other riders. poor speed reference and messed up my recovery. i tried to get back on and ride a couple of times after. stupid. made the two busted ribs, busted scapula & shoulder tear a lot worse. when folks showed up i got real good help. that was a long walk out. thx for sticking with me. it was huge to get that assist.
