| Yep! Windy and fun out there. But there were other adventures. Howard and I were out with new guy Jonny. It was his third time in his new Bluefin and his second time in wind, so we were trying to keep it mellow out of the Boating Center. Lots of adventure was had in the big wind and Jonny put his considerable swimming skills to use far less today than yesterday. However, just as we were wrestling the boats onto the cars, an old guy runs up to us asking for help. He had let go of the rope on his 20' aluminum Hewescraft while putting it in the water and it was quickly heading to sea. On its way to Squalicum harbor, it hung for a few seconds on the last log in the water of the boat ramp, Howard starting to rig up for some sort of desperate surfski effort, but Jonny jumped in and got to the rope just as the boat slipped off the log.
