Last year, Kevin guaranteed that there would be waves for the race. Since Mother Nature didn't cooperate, he generated them with a motorboat.
Will he guarantee at least 60 degree weather? I suppose he could bring some heaters if she doesn't cooperate this year!

Well Allan I’m backing Kevin to the fact that on sat it’ll be above 60 deg by noon. So putting your money where your you know what is , for deg above 60 you must contribute $5.00. For every deg below 60 at noon I’ll contribute to Kevin‘s race fund. Gonna be hot and dusty.

They say size doesn't matter, but I heard rumors that they are limiting this race to rudders of 3“ or less.

Thank you Kevin, Marc, CBC, all the volunteers and cooks for another great race with our blessed community and those tacos, soups, and cookies were so tasty.
First time ever doing short course, kinda liked it - quicker to the cookies.

So that explains it. Actually, there were plenty of cookies left even for the slow moving barnacles, which of course, is their primary food source – kind of like our local Orcas.
