I saw one going south. Bev is at MP swimming and they saw a mother and baby heading north to Boulevard Park.

At around 11:15 they were about 1/4 mile NW of Whiskey Rock. I got within about 500’ of them and watched for a few minutes. Honestly, even that far away they looked massive & I felt pretty insignificant.
And it was a really fun downwind home.

So great to have them visiting Bellingham Bay area. That means the bay is “recovering” and becoming a better place for the top predator to hunt. I only wish the Southern Residents would visit now.
