Hey John,
Here's my answer to Goodboy Racks:
2 2×4's, plus some varnish (~$20)
2 Yakima cross bars (~$100)
8 U-bolts from HW Sales ($30)
+ the cradles of your choice.
Super easy to put together.

Minor savings if you're only getting one Goodboy. But the more boats you add, the more $ you save by just adding the cradles of your choice. And you can mix and match cradles, depending on hull shape. Or even add an ama if you decide that your V8 isn't stable enough.
