It looks like the results are posted for what turned out to be more of an upwind sidewind slog according to Heather's Facebook post.

Reading some heartache stories in the results. Fastest paddler (Cory H.) in at 1:43. Austin was 5th at 1:47. Dean G. 10th at 1:51. Sean Rice 18th at 1:55. Ana 83rd and 5th woman. Heather 94th and 8th woman. Tom S. 100th finisher. 145 racers finished and 7 racers did not finish. Last racer across in just under three hours. I would not make the finish.
It's looks like a gut buster paddler.

RD,
Hmmm, the finish list shows “Shaun Rice” at 18th - 50+ Male. Maybe not “Sean Rice”? And maybe a good result for Shaun? Looks like there were a bunch of very fit 40+ and 50+ racers there.
I hope our folks from Bellingham get the kind of downwind race they would like next Saturday in the Doctor. $50,000 prize purse! and $10K each to 1st place male and female.

Yep it was brutal. Wind and waves at your 10:00 for 24km. Heather pushed her V10 sport (black tip) as fast as it would go - it was the first time I’ve seen her not smiling after a race. So proud of Ana for hammering it out in conditions that did not suit her strengths. And for me, well, I’d just like to think I was saving myself for next week! Honestly it was way more fun than flatwater - so we’ll call it character building.
It’s quite the scene here. Great people, consistent winds (yesterday aside) and a huge paddling community. Imagine enough people and consistent enough wind that a business could exist running shuttles to wildcat every day!
Will post a link to Ana’s blog once she updates it today.
Thanks for thinking of us!
