Being salt water soaked for many times per week is not good for skin. I've found coconut oil is cheapest/best and try to coat two or three times a week. I've used mineral oil, vasaline, etc. I used baby oil for a while, but the guys at work started being way too friendly. They put perfume in that stuff. I slather up after a shower, not so good to put on right before a paddle. If the oil doesn't have time to absorb there's big problem with gripping the paddle.

You kids might not think about this, but after seeing some weird growing stuff on my skin I took a hint. Now my skin is fresh and supple. I look like a 65 year old - fresh as a daisy. Maybe a plastic daisy, like you see in the back window of a car that hasn't been driven since the great depression.

Inside out is another way, Drinking coconut oil straight up or like in coffee, plus some butter= bulletproof coffee. Bend in a raw egg for Mafatone's version, maybe with some cinnamon. Extra Avocado or olive on everything, salads, tuna fish, eggs, veggies. The concept is we are suppose to be well oiled machines versed running on fumes from to much sugar.

Getting used to it can be a bit challenging on the stomach but starting slow is doable.
