I've seen a lot of different variations of PVC boat stands from this group. One of my 'T' joints just broke - so I'm going to make a couple new sets.
I'm mainly interested in a simple design to get my ski off the ground enough to rinse it off, change a rudder, and keep it off the grass and dirt. It doesn't need to be sturdy enough to sit in and change leg length, etc.
Would anyone be willing to share a photo of your setup? I'd like to switch it up.
I'm also curious if you use pipe cement to keep everything connected (or not) and the different materials you've used for the 'sling'. I've seen everything from nylon webbing, to old firehose and foam pipe insulation.
Thanks in advance!

Hey Erica,
Here's our version, using an old piece of climbing webbing, just cause that's what we had laying around. I think it's good to use pvc glue on all the joints on each side, but neither of the crossbar joints. That helps avoid having it fall apart inconveniently, but still lets you break it down flat if necessary for storage or travel.
Best,

Erica,
This is not what you asked for - just another option….
We have bought the inexpensive (relative to custom boat stands) folding chairs from Harbor Freight - we take the back rest off and pad the upper metal. You can sit in your boat and make adjustments if you place one of these close to your seat.

Erica,
You can have mine, they're T's with uprights that cross. Bolted in the center. Not glued do you can just just the fitting of you like. I might have Xtra fittings if you want to change the design.

If you don't want to fabricate anything, you can also use the small folding camp stools. I've used both the triangle and squaer type and find the square type to be more stable.

I think there is a simple design in the archives/ Files. No glue needed
