Interesting race results. Top surfski finisher (Carter) was behind six OC-1's at the finish. This must have been a hella rough water race. Lots of pretty tough surfski paddlers and I notice also there were some SUP's throwing down on this race. Results:

Looks like there were two younger division paddlers who finished ahead of Carter…..

Words cannot even describe the conditions. We were dodging breaking waves mid channel as if trying to peal off a gnarly shore break before it curls. Not for everbody, but this race simply must be experienced. Best OC's paddlers in the world attend this. Absolutely thrilled to have cracked the top ten against them in their home waters. Like the golden gate, lines across the channel can make or break 10+ minutes in regards to both the wind angles and currents.
Wildest dreams cannot even match the bliss of the surf for those who are ready for it in a good year across this channel.
Hope to see some more skis next year. We more than doubled 2014 and should double numbers again in 2016.
Give me a shout if there is any interest. Having done over 15 of the world series races I can safely say there is nothing even close to this on the circuit. Shame it is not a point race for the skis. Perhaps it should be.
At 1/4 the price and fractions of the logistics there is no reason to consider the Molokai world championship race if your just in it for the experience of a lifetime vs the money.

Yeah, I had heard that having the local knowledge on this run is huge, as were the conditions. Nice job dude. Eager to get my feet wet in paradise, might take you up on that offer.
