That rhymed - “Unai the Spanish guy”

Others who may need partners:

Troy the Hellenic boy,
Koch the English bloke,
Pan the goat-footed man,
Larson the Swede-French garcon,
Tad the Canadian lad,
Kipper the South African nipper
and of course Rude the American dude.

Should be tough competition.

Somehow I feel like this message was like something said loudly in a crowded room - just when everyone happened to be quiet.

Then there is a pause while people think of small talk.

…like: 'He's really a wonderful paddler. Yes, and probably a great credit to medicine. … You don't suppose it was the X-ray machine? No, no, nothing like that. He's just Scandinavian.“.

Oh god, I just snorted coffee all over my laptop. RD, please don't do that!

Erik Borgnes 07/19/12 #13004

Oh, come on you people, it was funny . . . my 7 yr old would have been rolling on the floor.

Ok. I'll start taking my meds again. sheesh. Tough crowd.

Eric,

I think they were really good!

For all of us going to SF:
There was an Old Man in a boat,
Who said, 'I'm afloat, I'm afloat!'
When they said, 'No! you ain't!'
He was ready to faint,
That unhappy Old Man in a boat.

Yesterday we did 'the dean B' run. Down against the breeze and waves to the beach with no nudes - then back. Lots of paddlers. Some of us came to our senses before going all that long way only to turn back around. Notably, four of the awesome paddling women of whatcom showed an abundance of good sense. Elana, Debbie, Vanessa and Adrianne turned around while the favorable wind/waves were still there.

The wind died back once we quit pushing against it and we sweated and breathed our own air most of the way back. Typical: the best waves were right around Post Point.

I had a realization on that long run back. I like our free-wheeling messages we fling around and hereby apologize to Erik for sounding judgemental about his word-play humor. And I confess that I didn't laugh very much at David's limerick. I'm the guy who gets such a chuckle out of talking about farrting in wetsuits. No more elitist, snobby comments from Reivers. I think I'm wonderfuly funny, but sometimes the next morning … Well anyway, it sure is great that there's so much traffic that nobody remembers my bloopers for long.

'river-hog' reivers.

My schedule has cleared, to the Gorge I can go.
I'm not very fast, in fact a bit slow.
But if you're still lacking a partner for racing,
give me call if you don't fear last placing.

PS Anyone have Unai the Spanish Guy's number?
