  • Fort Fisher - Carolina Beach 7 mi either direction - can be extended by how much you can paddle upwind at the start. Fort Fisher is typically the starting point with the prevailing S/SW winds in the summer, but there can be shore break to contend with on the launch.
  • Masonboro Inlet - Mason Inlet (either direction depending on wind) approx. 4.7 miles of downwind, 7+ miles put-in to take-out
