Colvos to Wildcat Cove today.

Put in at Squalicum Beach at 11:30 today, worked my way in the lee of the north bay upwind to Colvos Passage and shot the gap between Portage Island. Colvos was on fire, as it was flooding hard against the NW wind at 25mph. Surfed from the gap to WIldcat Cove in some of the biggest water I’ve seen in the bay. Lots and lots of log debris. Must have been the currents. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Really wild, sunny and fun solo run to make the most of the strong westerly component and sunshine. 18 miles in 1 hour 57 minutes. GO!!!

Isn't Colvos Passage down south by Vashon Island? Are you talking about Hales Pass? Either way… smokin' run… but really fast if you paddled from Vashon(-:
