Deception Pass was full on this weekend. Tom S shot some really great video after getting some good laps in, and I put together a video mixing my gopro footage, his video, and a few clips from my phone – which hopefully gives a sense of what the water was doing.

I’m out for a while … bicep tendon … MRI indicates no paddling in the near future 😢

Rick, I had a 50% biceps tendon rupture several years ago. No surgery. Since the forward stroke is pronated, not supinated, you will be good to go. Perfect your technique, and you will only notice it when arm paddling, in big conditions when bracing excessively, or on hard long distance excursions.
