Main Canada Page

Ontario is a Canadian province that borders all of the Great Lakes with the exception of Lake Michigan (wholly contained within US borders). Most of the provincial population lives either on or not far from the Great Lakes. Ontario is also home to some of the other largest freshwater lakes in the world including Lake Nipigon and Lake of the Woods. The capital of Canada, Ottawa, is located at the Southeast corner of Ontario on the Ottawa River about 120 km Northeast of Lake Ontario.
